ELEGANT VINTAGE ENGLISH TANZANITE 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING.
This is an elegant and beautiful tanzanite yellow gold ring crafted in England. The ring head is composed of a claw set emerald-cut tanzanite gemstone in the centre. This in turn is framed by 14 x round cut claw set tanzanite round faceted gemstones. Together they total 0,53 carats. The natural tanzanite gemstones present slightly different hues - the large central stone being quite a deep violet/blue while the round stones around it, a paler lilac. The clarity of the central emerald cut stone is particularly good, giving the ring a lovely sense of light and life. The colours contrast beautifully with the yellow gold polished narrow shank. The ring head sits 6mm high above the finger. It bears the hallmarks '9K' and '375' for 9ct yellow gold, the jeweller's hallmark, and the Sheffield Assay mark. It's a beautiful ring - vintage but not ancient! At 3,35 grams, it is also a reassuringly solid piece of jewellery.
