1) Work radar detector is sending a beam of ultra waves that radiate from the unit. Beam reflected by the fixed and moving objects including from moving vehicles.
2) Reflection strength is determined depending on the proximity of the vehicle to the radar antenna the size and inch mass inch of the vehicle and power radar. As the beam of rays reflected from the vehicle the radar computes the moving speed of the vehicle by comparing the frequency of reflected waves with the frequency of the beam sent beam wave device.
