These gorgeous etchings are from a series of prints dating back to between 1822-23. The etchings are titled "The Yew Tree at Ankerwyke" and ''The Moor Park Lime Tree'' respectively, by J.G Strutt (Jacob George Strutt (1790–1864)), who was an English landscape painter and engraver in the manner of Constable. He was the husband of Elizabeth Strutt, and father of the painter, traveller and archaeologist Arthur John Strutt. These bold, dark wood finish with gold gilded trimming frames measure 705mm long x 625mm high, without these frames the prints measure 555mm long x 475mm high. There are minimal scuffs on these frames and both have usage and age related wear and tear. These stunning prints would be brilliant pieces for your living room or hotel reception etc. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate these wonderful framed etchings and to confirm the condition.
