Real Car -The Ford GT 40 MK 11, shocked the Racing World when it took Le Mans 1,2, & 3 in 1966 in front of the Ferrari's, Porches & others only on its Second attempt. 

After Ford Withdrew from Racing, Privateers took the Ford GT 40 Flag further !!

Jacky Ickx took Le Mans in '69  with a Four year old Mirage, basically a FORD GT 40 MK 11  !! The Car had Four years of hard endurance Racing behind it,and was given no change due to its age, Incredible mileage at Endurance Races & considered obsolete.                                             The Car,in Gulf Colors had two factors up its sleeve- Firstly being prepared by the Best in the Endurance Racing business- Automotive Products, and secondly the incredible Jacky Ickx, who at the end of the race,used his experience & proved to be not only one of the Best,but also a wily old Fox by putting the car ahead right at the end of the Race to take Le Mans !!
