MMA - SMI !! Metropolitan Museum of Art Hand Finished Double Measuring Spoon - RARE item

VINTAGE/ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED DOUBLE MEASURING SPOON -- HAND FINISHED -- MMA SMI

A RARE collectable cutlery item from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) which is Hand Finished Silver plated metal. The striations along the shaft are not perfectly straight and the hole made in the side to hang the item up is not perfectly circular and is slightly off center.  This would mean either that the item is hand finished or was manufactured at a time when the available machinery could not be calibrated perfectly.    The item is stamped -- "MMA SMI"

The item has vintage patina which should be polished but is otherwise in PERFECT condition with NO rust, damages, breakages and is NOT bent
