The Classic Designs Collection differs from  other collections. If we take the definition of a bunk bed to be two beds stacked one on top of another where the top bed cannot exist as an independent entity, that is, it cannot stand on its own. The design of the Classic Designs Collection is stylish and practical, modern and fluid; it features what we call a versatile wrap system, which can contain various items that fit in both girls' and boys' room: a vanity desk, bookcases, an entertainment center, display and book shelves. This wrap is size-adaptable, making it possible to create a configuration capable of fitting into most rooms and budgets. As is the case with nearly all our bunk beds, this collection too features their recognizable staircase which doubles as a storage area that holds four deep drawers. Additional two drawers that fit under the lower bed can be ordered as an option. You can also opt for a trundle bed instead to add an extra sleeping area -- a perfect solution for sleepovers.

Let's review some of the more interesting points of this product.

Design -- there are plenty of research studies that link creative environment in childhood to success in later life. The properly designed furniture encourages and facilitates many of the behaviors that child psychologists believe are necessary for a child to become a well-rounded, confident adult. Staircase -- Classic Designs' signature feature, designed with safety and comfort in mind. The stairs have broad, generous stepping surfaces with non-slid finish plus a handrail, all of which allows for a comfortable and safe access to the top bed. In addition, each of the stairs provides extra storage by housing a deep, spacious drawer. The staircase can be positioned at either side of the bed.

Desk -- the spacious desk offers a comfortable study area and features 3 desk drawers and a (book)shelf. 

Storage -- the bunk bed offer some basic storage. The least you get are four drawers in the stairs plus three drawers in the desk.

Sturdiness -- kids like to play, and in their play they can get carried away and subject the bunk bed to a considerable stress. Children's furniture should therefore be designed to withstand any such strains and at Classic Designs Furniture we are aware of that.
