Kowa Prominar ED 10.5x44 Binocular XD44-10.5 Product Info The Kowa 10.5x44 Genesis 44 binocular is the first binocular to be given the PROMINAR brand name. Kowa’s 10.5x44 Genesis 44 binoculars have 4 XD glass lenses which, combined with the larger 44-mm objective lens size and internal convex lenses with special dispersion properties, greatly reduces chromatic aberration and yields a very bright image. The 10.5x44 Genesis 44 is a phase-coated roof prism binocular, with BaK-4 glass prisms and Kowa’s C3 prism coating permits near total reflectivity. The magnesium alloy frame helps limit the 10.5x44 Genesis weight to under 34 oz. Kowa Genesis 10.5x44 binoculars have 15 mm of eye relief and a locking diopter mechanism. With a 352-foot field of view at 1000 yards and a minimum close focus of just 5.5 feet, the optical performance of the 10.5x44 Genesis binocular won’t disappoint anyone! Kowa Genesis 44 binoculars are completely waterproof and nitrogen-purged to be internally fog-proof. All Genesis 44 binoculars are made with Kowa’s heavy metal-free, Eco-Glass. Features:

This allows for a much higher reflectivity than with coatings of silver or optically-enhanced aluminum, offering a reflectance of 99% or higher across the entire visible spectrum (400 to 700mm). Not only does this provide bright and sharp images, but accurate color reproduction is also achieved. Furthermore, the roof surface of the Schmidt prism is phase coated (phase correction coated) to prevent the loss of contrast and image resolution.
