This stylish vintage Sphinx Jewellery Ladies silver metal earring set with Marcasite stones and faux pearls are in wonderful condition and would look just as stunning with a pair of jeans and t-shirt as it would with an evening gown. The earrings are roughly 1cm wide x 4cm long. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this vintage earring set and to confirm the condition.
From the internet: "Founded in 1948, The Sphinx Company was a renowned British jewellery manufacturing company that produced well made, quality constructed, and beautifully designed costume jewellery that had the look of real jewellery. In addition to their own line, they produced jewellery designs for many creatively talented artists like Kenneth Jay Lane, Butler & Wilson, Joe Mazer (Jomaz), Alfred Philippi, Nina Ricci, Caura, Fried Paris, as well as Saks 5th Ave., Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Mark & Spencer, and other high end department stores, in Europe as well as the United States. The jewellery is now becoming highly collectable since Sphinx ceased operations in the late 1990's."
