This superb antique/ vintage? solid cast brass hinged double-porthole with a solid cast brass storm cover mounted on a solid teak panel is a stunning find and an awesome porthole collection for a collector of maritime pieces/ memorabilia. The portholes still have their original glass in them. The portholes were mounted on the teak panel and the idea was to install lights behind the glass (hence the holes in the wood) and mount it in a pub. The portholes are the large size 36cm (14 inch) across portholes and the collection measures 134cm long x 36cm wide. There is a little "weather" related wear and tear.
