The key to a fish's health and quality of life is its water quality. To activate the self-cleaning system, simply pour clean water up to the top of the aquarium. We recommend pouring fresh, conditioned water into the aquarium weekly. If you don't have the chance to activate the self-cleaning cycle weekly then pour more water into the aquarium during the next cleaning. Activate self cleaning system regularly to remove uneaten food and waste properly. For best results, activate the system about an hour after you feed your fish to flush out waste and uneaten food.
