A Pair of Gold One Rand Coins Mounted as Cufflinks. Both coins are dated 1976. The mountings are stamped for 9ct Gold. The cufflinks are in good condition without damage. The spring mechanism is still firm. The coins have not been welded to the mounting but can only be removed by breaking the holding bar at the back. Hearsay: presented to the original owner by the Chamber of Mines.
The coins each weigh 3.99 gm and are 22ct. The pure gold content of both coins is 0.235 Troy oz.
