Lovely cutlery canteen in wooden box lined with red felt
Bronze ware is a unique tableware, handmade by skilled craftsmen in Thailand, perhaps better known as Siam. Cast individually from glowing red molten bronze, each piece is ground to the proper shape and polished to a mirror finish by these patient craftsmen.
Rosewood is a brownish red hardwood, native to the steaming tropical jungles of Southeast Asia. It's water-resistance and hardness, ensures its durability and longevity in appliances and furniture.
There are 12 knives (21,2 cm long) / 12 forks (20,8 cm long) / 12 dessert spoons (20 cm long) and 12 teaspoons (14 cm long)
Size of wooden box : 36 cm x 29 cm x 8,5 cm (the wood could be oak or chestnut,I am not sure) The whole unit is very heavy.
All 48 pieces are in an excellent used condition. It might have been used a few times at most.
Recipe to safely clean these utensils : 1 x cup of white vinegar, add 1 x teaspoon salt, add a little bit of flour to make a paste, apply a layer of this paste to cutlery and keep aside for 15 min to an hour. (DON'T dishwash)
