Freesia fucata is an early blooming fragrant species that is white flushed purple with yellow markings. It is found on clay slopes in the renosterveld in the southwest Cape. Freesia is one of the easiest Cape bulbs to grow. It makes a wonderful pot plant that can be enjoyed on a sunny patio, or sunk into the garden during its growing season or just for spring and removed and stored dry during summer, or it can be grown permanently outdoors in pockets of the rock garden. Freesia is frost tender to half hardy and thus needs protection in very cold climates. On offer is a pack of 10 Seeds
