ELEGANT CHEVRON DESIGN DIAMOND 9CT GOLD PENDANT NECKLACE
This gorgeous piece of vintage jewellery from England features a chevron design pendant that has been crafted out of both yellow and white 9 carat gold. The back of the solid section is solid but concave. The front features a twist of yellow gold that wraps itself around a ribbon of white gold in a scrolling panel design. The round cut diamonds (0,20 carats) have been set into the white gold section. Interest is created by the contrast of both colour and texture between the icy glitter of the diamonds with the smooth warmth of the gold on the pendant. The 57mm wide pendant is joined by a 9 carat gold snake link chain, joined at either side of the solid bar section and closing with a 'lobster claw' catch at the back of the neck. The 375 hallmark appears, for 9ct gold, and there is also the import hallmark for Sheffield, England. It is nice and solid and quite heavy at 6,9 grams. I bought it from a vintage jeweller in the middle of England's jewellery quarter. Definitely a collectable item!
