DESCRIPTION OF FLAGSAll flags are full size i.e. 1.90 metres x 0.90 metre1.Union Jack, with “RNG’ “Broad Arrow”, “1961” and “Porter Bros Liverpool” stamped on the hoist.2.Pale blue Southern Rhodesia Flag with William Smith and Gourock tag and SRG stamp on the hoist.3.The “Green and White” Rhodesia flag with William Smith and Gourock tag on the hoist.4.B.S.A.Police flag, no crown, with William Smith and Gourock tag on the hoist. 5.Zimbabwe/Rhodesia flag with William Smith and Gourock tag on the hoist.Flags Nos. 1 and 2 were the last Union Jack and Southern Rhodesia flags to be flown at Sauerstown Police Station. On being hauled down they were placed in storage. They were replaced by No. 3. the “Green and White” Rhodesia flag on 11/11/1968 and after this flag flew for a day it was also stored,and replaced by another. No. 4 was the first BSAP Flag to be raised at Sauerstown in 1970 and again, after flying for a day it was also stored and replaced by another. Authenticity of the above is confirmed. Wonderful opportunity to obtain all flags which are in excellent condition with history attached.
