Hi, I would say that it is like a standard size cap. The velcro strap can be adjusted like most caps. However this does not mean it will fit your kid. The cap fits my wife's head which is much smaller than mine.

After I adjusted one of the caps so that the velcro straps are still intact by 50mm, the inside circumference was 550mm.

It could be possible. However, collection points is a service to me and the buyer free of charge, therefor collection time and arrangement realy need to be made after purchase over the phone with the specific collection point. Where would you like to collect?

Well, I have washed my own cap a couple of times in the washing mashine and it still works, but I cant advertise it as waterproof as I would imagine that there is parts that can damage, after all, it runs on batteries.

Running in the rain should not be a problem, this cap is an excelent companion for outdoor braais.
