Many features on the Kindle Fire are not available in SA. This includes, and might not be limited to, most of the digital media content: the Movies/TV Shows/Music, Amazon Prime Benefits, Amazon Market Apps and Cloud Storage - unless you have a US credit card & billing address and IP Address. Some features might be released to the international market in the future, but there is no timeframe for this. There are ways to bypass some of these restrictions but it is not easy / not for novices.
