Marc Chagall, 1981 Signed Poster "Advertising Sale of Recent Lithographs" - translated from the French -, 91 x 58 cms, Inscibed on the back in Hebrew "To Doris, Health and Good Life", signed "Mark Chagall" in Hebrew. Was framed in very heavy viso verso glass frame made of steel and aluminium. Sold without Provenance and without Authentification (affidavit signed at police station by previous owner as no auction house would authenticate Hebrew writing.) In Good Condition, save two 4 cm cuts in near the inscription at the back of the Poster, one 4cm cut in the Poster on the upper left hand side, one 6 cm cut in the Poster at the top. Some fading in the letters(this poster is 30 years old). A little bit of fading in some of the letters. This lends character and antiquity. Three crumple marks at the top of the Poster which once framed will straighten out. One paper blemish at the right hand top and one just above "Lithographies". Two mounts at the top back of the Poster. This Poster needs to be framed in a glass viso verso frame.
