Old Filigree Eternity Ring. Please read the following carefully. This ring was found in amongst a parcel of old costume jewelry, broken wrist watches and earrings that I bought a few years back at an auction in Pietermaritzburg, which apparently belonged to an old resident of the city and whose children resided overseas. I have no idea of the age of the ring, but to me it has the feel of the Victorian era, I could however be wrong and that the ring is not that old. The ring has no stamps or Hallmarks, yet the outer rim has the look of rose gold and the inner filigree, silver. However for the sake of this auction let us presume that it is not gold or silver, maybe it is brass and tin and bid accordingly. The inside of the ring is dirty and could do with a good clean. The inner diameter of the ring is more or less 17mm which if my calculations are correct, make it a size 7. Signed for postage in SA will be R20. 6 photos to download.
