This gear-box was manufactured in England by the Whitney company of London. It looks as if it has never been used, as the mounting holes have no signs of mounting bolts. The high speed shaft is 6mm in diameter and the reduced shaft has a 10mm diameter. It stands 68mm high and weighs 700 grams. It is made of brass, the shafts and gears of steel. It is missing two bolts that hold the front plate in place, but these should be easily found and replaced. It turns smoothly and has grease on the gears. Please add R25.00 for P&P. |
