A:
Hi. I suppose if you turn the shaft at 6000 RPM (or more) the output will be 12 volt. Anything less than 6000 RPM it will generate less volts. Thanks, Hellen

Hi Ray. The only specs we received from the suppliers are those in the description of the item. The torque and power specs are not known, except that the motor is rated as a high power unit. Thanks, Hellen

Hi. If you could make it fit, I think it will work very good. This is quite a powerful motor.

Q:
Can this be used as a spit braai motor?

It would have to run for hours and carry a load of around 25 kg (up to 45kg).

I'd have to step the speed down with gears and cut down the supplied power. - Asked by kovan (8)

A:
Hi. Yes it is possible to use this motor on a (small) spit braai. If this motor will handle very heavy loads on a continues basis, I really dont know. To geared it down with gears or pulleys is a good idea. To reduce the supplied power is not a good option as you will loose much needed torque and it is possible to burn out the motor in a very short time. I hope this helps.
