Q:
I have just noticed that you charge R45 for postage on the bidding item and only R35 on the "Buy now" item (53585125). Why is there a difference? - Asked by

My normal shipping charge is actually R45. This includes postage, packaging, travelling, insurance etc. I am also one a very few sellers that take full responsibility until the moment the buyer receives the item - in other words if your item gets broken or lost in the post, I send a new one. You can go and see that with 90% of sellers shipping is at the total risk of the buyer. We also ship items within 24 hours which often means extra trips to the post office. My shipping charges was worked out with the help of a very skilled person and is in fact actually below my actual expenses. I have added the extra R10 on to selling price of all my Buy Now items to make shipping of those items seem less (which I cannot do with Auctions) - that is why the buy now shipping is R35. Hope that answers your question.
