Q:
Hi,
We are going to Mozambique in December and there is no power there where we are going.
I bought a inverter to charge convert a 12V battery to 220. The battery that we are using is not connected to a car to recharge. So I am looking at recharging the battery with a solar panel. So at night the battery get used in means with the inverter... and at day it must recharge with means of the solar panel. but ive done some research and I've come to the conclusion that I need a charge controller that will make sure that the battery does not over charge and go above unsafe charging capacity and damage the battery. . . in other words the voltage should stay constant... please check out the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47CcB3EKpjw
Do you have stock of this unit? i might need 2 tho...
Thank you

But will it work to charge a 12V car battery?
And will it not over charge a battery? - Asked by

Good morning,
Unfortunately this is the only car battery charger we sell.

Hi, yes, this item is specifically for car batteries. It is a trickle charger so it won't over-charge the battery. Although, the battery should be in a good condition and as full as possible when you start using the trickle charger.
Kind Regards,
