This is an excellent bright high quality large old etching of the entrance to the Castle in Cape Town. The etching is titled and signed in pencil. There is a blindstamp of the artist Tinus de Jongh smoking a pipe next to the signature! The frame is in excellent condition and is appropriate. The frame is 43 cm x 37 cm and the etching itself is 29 x 20 cm. Secure packaging and tracked postage is only R50. Or you can pick it up for no extra charge! )Thanks for your interest in the item. It is definitely an etching and not just a lithographic print. Not dated but probably issued in the 1930s or 1940s. Counter to counter would be cheaper if the glass was removed, but you are looking at around R120. Tracked ordinary parcel is the rate quoted in the web page and takes five working days.
