A set of six Egersund side plates from Norway

Hi, I'm afraid the price you're offering is far too low to cover the shipping costs from South Africa to Norway. I've weighed the 12 plates and have estimated the weight of the packaging material and the figures are as follows: airmail (cost of items plus postage) = R1484.75; surface mail (cost of items plus postage) = R918.80. The South African post office charges a fixed rate per parcel PLUS (in the case of postage to Europe) R11.85 per 100 g for airmail and R2.55 per 100 g for surface mail. Regards, Douglas

Hi Frank, I've spoken to the staff at my post office and they say that surface mail to Norway will take AT LEAST six weeks, but can take up to three months depending on factors such as the availability of an appropriate ship, delays along the way, etc. I posted an item to Finland on 9 July this year and it arrived just over 8 weeks later on 6 September. The best I can do is R500 (excluding postage) for the six side plates plus the six dinner plates.
