Activision turns its hand to the world of hip hop once more in this sequel to the DJ rhythm title starring its own DJ mixing deck.

After cutting its teeth in the world of rock with the long-running Guitar Hero franchise, DJ Hero saw Activision try its luck with DJ decks, leaving behind rock-based tracks in favour of hip hop, pop and dance songs that players could mix and layer as they played. In DJ Hero 2, the DJ deck of the original makes a welcome return, once again asking players to scratch and slide through each track, mixing samples and classic songs together for original music played on the world stage.

Following on from DJ Hero’s strong line-up, DJ Hero 2 contains some of the most renowned artists in pop and hip hop, including Dr. Dre, The Chemical Brothers, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. 70 original mashups made specifically for the game are available in total. DJ Hero 2 now contains a number of unique multiplayer modes, allowing two DJs to face one another in a mixing battle.

DJ Hero 2 returns to the formula that made the original rhythm game so appealing, adding a huge variety of new tracks alongside more robust multiplayer offerings.
