Vintage Bell & Howell 16mm Projector (TQ1 Filmosound)

This projector has been in storage for the last 20 years.    According to the owners it was in good working order when they last used it.

I switched it on and ran it without a film, the motor runs and the light works.    The reel take ups do not turn, but this may be due to the springs having not being used have stretched and become stiff.

The lens has no scratches, and there are no areas where I can detect rust marks.     The areas in the picture which may look like rust, are only reflections.     This item was used by a film hire company and their paper identification labels have left their mark on being removed.

I do not have a empty film reel, but everything else is there.    It has an internal speaker, the case is complete, and it has the canvas over-cover (which can do with a good wash).

Size front to back 400mm x 420mm to top of handle x 245mm side to side.     Weight estimated as 20 Kilograms. (May be over Post Office maximum)

The buyer will have to organize their own collection/delivery, we are in Pretoria.
