Lesley Bergere was born in Pretoria, South Africa. Her natural talent and interest in art came at a very young age, which led her to study at the Johannesburg College of Art. She had her first solo exhibition in 1994.  She had many exhibitions, at least two solo exhibitions at the State Theatre gallery in Pretoria, and also exhibited in London.

Lesley transforms her work into a state of absolute presence and spiritual magnitude of expression and her paintings are also represented in the State Theatre Art Museum Collection in Pretoria.   Lesley's clients include various private collectors and the corporate sector, in South Africa and abroad (under more: London, Italy, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Scandinavia & Japan through private collectors).

In Lesley’s words: “In an artwork, the beauty of the final expression comes from the spirit in which it is made 
and this then, is my truer contribution, as an artist – the intension and spirit in which the painting takes shape, and the extent to which I am able to allow that element or gift of mystery to come through...from out of the silence"

Because of the size of this painting, SAPO cannot be used for deliveries and a courier must be arranged by the buyer.  On request, a courier can be arranged by the seller, but the courier charges will be for the buyers account.

Collection in Pretoria will be allowed for this painting. 

The seller reserves the right to close the auction earlier.
