hello. I have had a mobitel phone before and have encountered problems when setting up for SMS, caller ID etc.

This is not the British Mobitel Phone. This is the Mobot Brand. The phone works well with all the functions such as Caller ID etc. Any software that runs with Java will work with the phone. If Mxit has a Java app it will work with the phone. Internet and web browsing is standard and works with the service providers settings.

A:
It takes two sim cards and both are active whilst the phone is on. You can receive calls on both the numbers(sims) on your phone. You can also set the phone up to only call on one sim and answer on another or any combination. It helps a lot when you have a Contract Sim and a Prepaid Sim. (You can make calls on your contract sims free minutes and receive on both etc) Also, you can use two service providers sim cards at the same time.
