A good sized late Victorian silver salt with pierced sides and sitting on three bun feet, with its blur glass liner. The salt was assayed in Birmingham in 1897. It measures 6cm in diameter and stands 3cm high. it weighs 31 grams. It has its original blue glass liner which has two or three minor fleabite rim chips which do not detract, the silver is in good condition, small area of corrosion at one point on the rim. A lovely large salt cellar.
