)Yes its waterresistant. Thus you can use it in the shower as well if Eskom has power cuts. Also consider the 1200lm Headlamp, here is the link below. This most probably my most popular model.

No unfortunatelly, on the 600lm there is two models, one that takes AAA and the one with 18650. Unfortunatelly you can't combine them. I have however two torches and one headlamp that you can combine it.
Have a look at this headlamp, its 1200lm, without a Zoom, but it has a VERY VERY standerd focus. If you walk at night, it shines far, while the spill will land in front you to lighten up the road.
