Mechanical write protection switch
Mechanical write protection switch is a lock tab on the edge of the flash card. The mechanical write protection switch allows users to only read data, not write to the card. This helps prevent data from being deleted accidentally. The card also has a notch that protects the card from being inserted incorrectly (upside down). Helps protect the card and your device.
Auto Stand-by and Sleep Mode
Auto stand-by and sleep mode means when your device or camera goes into standby or sleep mode, the flash card will detect this and automatically go to stand-by mode. The host can further reduce power consumption by turning off the clock timing to the card. The card is ready when it is accessed again.
