1) Will this work for mountain bikes? 29" tyres? Yes it does.
2) Do we need to build the bike rack or is it assembled? It is assembled already
3) Will it work with any tow bar? Yes it will work with most towbars with a bolt either side of it. it does not work on the gooseneck towbar (which comes on some new vehicles and folds out from beneath the vehicle)
4) Is it lockable to the towbar? not lockable onto towbar but you can lock the bike onto the carrier
5) Do you have another option with a tilt function? The SA 2000 is another one you could look at
