Q:
Hi, Three questions:
1. How many devices can connect to it
2. I have K3772-Z HSPA usb stick (vodacom) , will it connect
3. How fast is the modem

Thanks - Asked by RobertBruce46 (22 Rating score between 10 and 49)

Hi there
As many as 8 computers,Ipads, phones or other
Wireless devices can connect to the mini router.
However there is a wireless perfomance degradation when you add beyond
4 devices.
The speed of indoor wireless depends on how fast the 3g modem you use can upload/download
Data.If it is fairly fast( more than 3Mbps) then the indoor wireless
Will be be fast as well.

Hi There

I only have a 2 pin power plug that you use to charge the device at a home power oulet,But I suppose you can buy a car charger that can insert into the device's power pin at any local electronics store.
But unfortunately the 2 modems you have are not listed on our compatibility list.
Consider buying the device below

Q:
I need a WiFi hotspot for my tablet that doesn't have a sim card slot but have some questions before I buy this.
* is this security enabled? (can I set a password on it)? How? And how does it work?
* does it support all the networks?
* how portable is it? Does it have a built-in battery?
UPDATED: 07 Dec 08:09
Okay but.wat do you mean by if your modem
supports a specific network the device will have no problem accessing that
particular network. Which mobile networks are supported? Are you not sure? I'll be using 8ta - Asked by oliviermtb (25 Rating score between 10 and 49)

A:
Hi there olivier

*Yes you can set a password for your device.
The device has the latest wireless security features
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK/ WPA&WPA2-PSK
*Since you insert a modem into the device to access the network, if your modem
supports a specific network the device will have no problem accessing that
particular network.
if you want a version that you can travel with, without the hassles of inserting a
modem, please order the product on link below

*Yes both devices have built in batteries, and the device is very portable, about the size of a Blackberry Curve

The router itself is compatible with all networks. As long as the modem you use to plug onto this mini-router is compatible with your network then the router will have no problem using the 3g network.
