Yes, this is a standard Canon SLR mount - all Canon and Sigma lenses will fit.

)The D500 is as good as new. It was used as a family camera by my wife. I can't tell you the shutter count - the Canon utilities floating on the Internet for some reason doesn't support the D500, but it is probably not more than 2000 considering the age. She likes to upgrade every 2 years odd so the D600 is next. No other reason - the D500 is a great camera.
I can't tell you how much it would be to Gabs - but will find out and update this answer tomorrow if that's fine with you.
