The manufaturer could not confirm that this specific model is able. However this one should be able to work with skype calls and has double the battery capacity which means staying on for longer.

I cannot confirm whether your modem will work. Most units works with the Huawei e1750 modem, allthough most Huawei models should work.
You can get a unit with this processor and builtin 3G with call function for R 1450 excl shipping of R299 and duties.
