Vreeland Lapa is a postcard wood cut print of the lapa at Vreeland Henley-on Klip, where Henk spent time as a family friend and was done for Dirk and Jean Lion-Cachet.

 The print is not signed.

However what makes this piece special is that it appears to be undocumented anywhere in J H Pierneefs body of work due to the fact that it was made especially for my grand parents as a post card.

The relationship is documented in the book. JH Pierneef “His life and his work” edited by PG Nel.

Hi Tilton. PG Nel only edited the content of the book 'JH Pierneef “His life and his work” 'This actual piece I dont think is mentioned in the book. The reference draws attention to the relationship between Lion-Cachet family and J.H.Pierneef. "Oom Henk" as he was fondly refered to was my fathers Gaurd Parent.
