Maidenhair Tree. Ginkgo biloba was once thought to be extinct. Dinosaurs ate it. It has survived on this earth for millions of years and is incredibly easy to grow. This is a lovely tree, beautifully formed with fan-shaped leaves that flutter in the slightest breeze. In fall they turn golden yellow and are kind enough to drop all at once. Ginkgo grows slowly to 80 feet, is a superb shade tree, an ideal street tree, and it makes a splendid bonsai. Though one of the most primitive trees known, it's one of the best for city conditions. It tolerates pollution, heat, drought, thrives in almost any climate and is disease and pest-free. These seeds are absolutely fresh!
