Will I have to format my hard drives in order to use them in this enclosure? I have 2 2TB hard drives and the one is almost full and formatting this hard drive would be a catastrophe. Also, does this enclosure have any sort of cooling system?

I have 2 sata hard drives (1tb & 1.5tb). I'm using a laptop, what I would like to know after installing the 2 hard drives into the enclosure will I be able to see both hard drives in windows?

I think if you use the setting JBOD (just a bunch of drives) then it should work. - Asked by DEWO (

Yes, 2 separate drives will be seen under My Computer.
