You would do well to research market values on furs - a good place to start is Ebay. Don't make the mistake of thinking Furrier valuations are an indication of price. You can always ask them if they would be prepared to make you an offer.... don't hold your breath!

I have no doubt that it is in exceptional condition - we have several as new minks, four bought here and one from the USA. (Thee full length coats). Most paid was R4,000.00. I can assure you that replacement values are between R20,000 and R60,000. My point being that "used" furs simply do not have a value anywhere near new prices. This is simply advice - like I said - try getting a furrier to make you an offer. This will give you an idea of market conditions. Appreciate you want the best price - not for me however!

Thanks for your question.
The fur is in exceptional condition and was valued at a retail of R 95 K. My price of 55K was reasonable,........ I thought.
If you wish to make an offer please feel free, to do so, as I would like to sell the coat.
