Hi Albie, I think that covering it with a plastic bin will be fine. {erhaps you can even got one that's made out of fibre-glass to look like a rock. I can always give you direct contact details of my clients who stock the feeders specifically for koi - they can best advise. I want to use it for koi.
What colours do you have?. I am still a bit unsure about the positioning as I have an approximate 30 cm edge around the koi pond.

Dear Albie, Thank you for your email. I have yellow, orange and blue left in stock. For positioning I would suggest a pipe to work as a shute into the pond. Please remember that this feeder must be under some sort of covering as it cannot be exposed to the elements. Hi, thank you for your interest in my feeders. Yes this feeder is suitable to feed fish but NO it's definately needs some kind of covering to protect it from he elements (it has eletronic parts and an LCD screen, that CANNOT get wet) I have had clients build a cover round it and another client used a pipe to make a shoot for the food to flow from the stoep out onto the pond.
