Thank you for your interest. The antenna attaches to the body of the car via a strong patch. It does not actually require any screws.

Apologies for the belated reply as your updated question had gone unnoticed till now. The antenna simply has a double-sided tape to adhere to the body of the vehicle. If your old antenna cannot be removed to reveal a smooth surface where to mount this antenna, then perhaps it would not quite be suitable. Otherwise we would be looking forward to your order.
