Oh I think I see the problem here!!!!! You thought I was asking about this cap badge... no no i was asking about the pilot wings but as that auction is finished, there was no way to mail you except through another of your listings. It was the pilot wings I was asking about...you had those listed at 200 rand.

that is very odd..... I looked at the original auction and to be able to mail you, because that option was now gone from the wings auction, I looked at other stuff you still had for sale (also or sale by this seller) and sent you my original message on THAT page (the cap badge) but listed off the original auction number....OK this is becoming much too com0plicated....

Its OK Its all my error!!!! Your cap badge listings was under "other items that may be of interest" not under sales by the same seller.... My old eyes are obviously all crossed... have contacted the actual seller! Sorry for the total confusion. - Asked by oldlincolnian (no ratings)

did you manage to get a postrage price so that you can give me a complete price for the badge? As you know the identity of the man who wore it, is there any possibility that you can tell me a bit more about his story too?? Name? Squadrons? Locations? is there any chance that more of his related material may be available too? Flight logbooks, photographs etc? Its always great to get a history to keep and enjoy!
