2. If I have 2 SD and 1 HD set and upgrade the SD sets to HD in future, can I still use the same decoder(s) ?

I have a SD Dual View decoder without PVR, 1 new FHD TV and 2 non HD TV sets. I will probably in next 12 months change 2 old sets to FHD.
What is the /most sensible/cheapest option to get HD view on FHD set, normal view on old sets, record on 1 set and view 3 different channels simultaneously? - Asked by Ernst Penzhorn (no ratings)

Hi Ernest Penzhorn.
1. Unfortunately your Dual View decoder cannot be used with the HD PVR or SD PVR, it can only be used as stand alone to view 2 channels with no recording option and no HD channels.
2. The best option is to purchase the HD and SD Pvr combo to enable 3 viewing channels and 2 recording.
3. If you get 2 x HD decoders you will only have 2 FHD viewing channels and 2 recording.
