Fabiana imbricata or Pichi as it is commonly known in Chile, is an evergreen shrub belonging to the Solanaceae family.
Its natural range stretches from Chile to the West Indies. It grows to 2.5m by 2.5m in moist, sandy soils, and produces small, white, tubular flowers in early summer.
In tropical areas they are grown outside in yards and garden. In places with cold winters they can be grown as a houseplant.
