Hand painted KOMMANDO KANTOOR entrance marker (Koppies Kommando)
ORIGINAL - Hand painted entrance marker KOMMANDO KANTOORPLEASE NO BIDDERS OUTSIDE SOUTH AFRICA PAYMENT WITHIN 3 DAYS OF COMPLETION OF AUCTION This was the original entrance marker of Koppies Kommando. Koppies Kommando was one of the first Kommando units in the Freestate to be closed down, in fact its area was taken over by Parys Kommando that have was closed down some time later. The marker is hand painted with gold coloured paint on a dark wooden board measuring 60cm long and 11cm wide. There are two holes with which it was affixed to the wall. This is a great piece of military history and i have in no way tampered or tried to clean up this piece,
