Q:
I don't think it's gonna work out - I would need to have the bike in less than 6 months, and no offence, but as much as you aren't happy with me possibly being able to run off with the bike, I'm not happy with you possibly being able to run off with my money. The only thing I can think of is we draw up an official contract. Something to the effect of "this amount must be paid before this date or bike can be repossessed". Signatures, addresses, contact details and alles. I wish I could do a cash deal, but unfortunately it's not an option right now. - Asked by Gregalops (no ratings)

Good day

How long a length of time are you willing to take monthly payments for? Also, when was the bike last serviced?

Since you mentioned in the advert that you want to buy a car (which will more than likely be financed over a few years), I was thinking R2500 a month for 6 months (I'm a matric student but my job will be able to cover that comfortably). The only problem is that I was planning to fill in the difference out of the money from selling my current bike (which should fetch 8-10 thousand), but I would need to have transport when it's sold. I realise the risk on your part, but I would be more than happy to sign a contract to say that if the bike isn't payed in full that you can take it back. Since I'm in matric and would not be finished with the school year before the 6 months are up, you can be assured that I won't be able to suddenly disappear. Would that be ok with you? - Asked by Gregalops (no ratings)
