Queen Anne Cast Iron Wood Burning Stove - Falkirk No 6
What a Fabulous Find for the Collector who invests in Rare and Beautiful items! This Queen Anne stove is so incredibly charming, use it as a quality display piece or install it for use! On the underside of the front pan it is marked "Falkirk no 6" in raised lettering. It is a heavy item, weighing just over 23kg. It stands 44cm tall to the top of the stove top, 54cm wide between the 2 ornate feet and approximately 46cm from front to back. There is a small crack in the cast iron on the top towards the back (see 2nd last photo) and the inside support rod is meant to have a largish end to hold the rod in place, the flat end has worn away a bit resulting in the rod being loose but wedged in properly, it is kept in place (see last photo). Some of the inside base grills with some damage from usage, it is inside the little stove so not glaringly noticeable. There is some wear to the cast iron from usage and age, though still fully intact and appears to be fully functional.
A RARE and Beautiful Find!!! Perfect for that "Olde-Worlde" Charm!!!
Shipping : The size and weight of the stove allows it be sent via the Post Office, shipping and packaging: R150. The buyer is welcome to collect which is free or send a courier for collection.
