Spurred snapdragon ‘Northern Lights’ mix is the ideal annual flowering plant if you want to attract lots of birds and butterflies to your garden. Snapdragons, native to Morroco, are a particular favorite of children who like to pinch the tiny individual blossoms and make the "dragon mouth" open and close. This 'Northern Lights' Mix of Spurred Snapdragons comes in colors ranging from yellow, red and pink to white or purple. These flowers, when in full bloom are gorgeous when heavily seeded in locations not filled with competing flowers. Since the seeds are extremely tiny and delicate, do not cover them with soil when sowing. These seeds need direct sunlight to germinate. Therefore, we have found that these seeds are perfect for sowing indoors so as to control their environment from harsher winters and frost. Enjoy these flowers in your vases.
