This is a very rare find! Manufactured during the 1960's, the no.38 features the lever bar system on the clip. The lever is pressed downward to extend the refill and it automatically retracts when it is placed in the pocket, as the lever is pushed upward by the pocket fabric. It is in excellent condition with only very few, hardly noticeable, fine scratches when viewed close up. Images are of the actual pen on offer.
The no.38 has a giant ballpoint refill in light blue that is still writing. The lever bar system operates smoothly. Clip and trim on this pen is rolled gold and the barrel of precious resin. The cap ring bears the inscription "MONT BLANC" and "no.38".
